ISO, GPRS DRIVE POS IN NIGERIA

The growing deployment of Point of Sales (PoS) terminals in the Nigerian market has been boosted by the adoption of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) wireless technology that enables rapid installation of new PoS terminals even in places where telephone network is a challenge.

As a result the roles of the Independent Service Organisations (ISOs) in the rapid deployment of these terminals has become a turning point in the e-Payment services in the country.
